Summer's Exuberance, distilled
A new collection of Flowering Window Wall Shrines
Hello to you, from my desk in the golden light. There’s a slight chill lingering in the air from the night, and a cup of smokey black tea by my side. I can feel that summer is leaving. This collection feels like a last hurrah, a celebration and a distillation of the bright, saturated, ripening and unfurling magic of that precious season.
This particular group of Flowering Windows is really exciting to me because my sweetheart Roy ( a talented craftsperson with the most impeccable eye I've ever known) made these really lovely, sturdy wall shelves to hold the paintings.
Inspired by gem-studded Byzantine icons and enameled copper Arts and Crafts Era homewares, these art objects are meant to be lived alongside and elevate daily life, as well as special moments of attention/intention/prayer.
