Hello!
I am so excited to be releasing this small series of treasure boxes today in the shop.
These three new pieces are lushly embossed with variations on a theme of attending to life and being a part of the world unfurling in this season.
I’ll let them speak to you for themselves, but offer these small descriptions to give a taste of their different flavors:
A moonlit garden union. The romance of turning towards and tending your interiority, bringing revitalization and rehydration to whatever needs it. The pleasure of partnership or the varied parts of ourselves moving in wordless, intuitive unison. The cultivation of sanctuary. Tobacco flowers release their fragrance in the evening and the sphinx moths drink their nectar. Cactus and datura bloom moon-white while the stars themselves bloom in the dark.
The ancient courtship dance of it all: the seductive petal by petal unfurling that draws the bees, the endless story of the synchronized movements of the sun and moon, the easeful shared movements of mated pairs of birds, the rebirth of the delicate velvety oak leaves from a tight bud emerge to drink the sun. The hands that coax life just for the pleasure of being part of the love story of the land in spring.
The reawakened garden. Coming out of dormancy and becoming a complex tangle of life. The combination of calm and chaos, the glorious sense of being in the thick of it! Loving hands tending the fragrant sun-warmed sanctuary, where butterfly wings open and lizards bask as the days lengthen, ripening the strawberries and roses. Seeds and eggs cracking open and new possibilities emerge.
There is one more special piece available again in the shop after the person who bought it was unable to go through with it:
A rose brought into your home to sit on your table and keep you company while you eat breakfast. A smiling rose. A rose put in water and brought to your mother. A rose-mother, or rose-grand-mother, if you need one. A rose on your altar or on your dresser in your bedroom, to perfume your dreams. A rose for the simple, ancient pleasure of being in the company of rose...
Thank you for taking a look!
May you unfurl alongside this season, well tended and wild in perfect measure.
With care,
Catherine
